Thumbs up District Heating in UK

Slough Trading Estate has had district heating since 1926, and converted from coal to wood chips in 2001

Woking Council have a CHP unit to heat council offices www.woking.gov.uk

WADE www.localpower.org are encouraging decentralised generation with CHP/district heating

www.greenfinch.co.uk have a food digester unit which could potentially heat much of the local trading estate once connected.
