Canamex stock dropped 17% to 14.5 cents. And, Brookfield Renewable Energy Partners LP Wednesday said it has acquired 16.2% of the common shares of Western Wind Energy (TSX: V.WND, Stock Forum). Western Wind shares added 9% at $2.27.
